About Me

Dr. Mehul Shah is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician.  Dr. Shah was born and raised in India and graduated from the University of Mumbai, India and completed his Internal Medicine residency at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.  Dr. Shah has been in practice since 2000 and is currently the President & CEO of Primary Care Providers of Chicago.

 

In addition to total commitment to his Internal Medicine practice, Dr. Shah holds active leadership roles within the Ascension health system.  He has served as President of Medical Staff at Holy Family Medical Center; Chairman, Dept of Internal Medicine at Resurrection Medical Center; Board Chairman for Amita Health Accountable Care Organization; Medical Director, Illinois Veterans Home Chicago; Teaching Attending, St Francis Internal Medicine Residency Program.

 

Dr. Shah is married and has two girls, two dogs, and over a hundred relatives in the Chicagoland area!  In addition to his family, Dr. Shah enjoys spending time with friends and socializing over golf, pickleball, tennis, cricket, food, and music.  He is extremely passionate about the sport of Cricket and has traveled the world to watch his favorite Indian National Cricket Team.
