We hope this newsletter finds you well! Here are some important updates and exciting changes happening at PCP of Chicago.
1. Aetna Contract Signed!
We are pleased to announce that Ascension and Aetna have come to a mutual agreement. As a result, our practice and the hospital will continue to remain accessible to all Aetna members. We appreciate your continued trust in us and look forward to serving your healthcare needs.
2. Prime Health Transition
The hospital will transition ownership from AScension to Prime Health this spring. We want to reassure you that PCP of Chicago is an independent, private practice and will not be impacted by this change. Our access to services will remain unchanged, and we will continue to provide the high-quality care you’ve come to expect from us.
3. Saturday Office Hours
We’re excited to announce that our office will now be open the first Saturday of every month from 9 AM to 12 PM. We hope this offers added convenience for your healthcare needs.
4. Same-Day Appointments
We understand that sometimes things can’t wait. If you need to be seen urgently, please don’t hesitate to leave a message with us. Depending on the severity of your concern, we will do our best to accommodate same-day appointments whenever possible.
5. Expanded Hours for Your Convenience
To better serve you, we’ve expanded our hours. Lab appointments now begin at 8 AM, and the last patient appointment of the day is scheduled at 5 PM. This allows more flexibility in scheduling your visits!
6. New Year, New Insurance
As we move into the new year, we encourage you to review and update your insurance information with us. This will help prevent delays in billing and avoid potential rejections or denials that could result in unexpected charges. We appreciate your attention to this matter!
7. Automated Online Payments
We’ve introduced a convenient automated text and email-based payment system, offering more flexibility for settling your balance. While the system is designed for ease, please reach out if you have any questions or need assistance. Of course, you can still pay over the phone or on our website.
8. Welcome Dr. Glenn Lorentz, DO & Kinga Chybowska, APN
In 2024, we were thrilled to welcome Dr. Glenn Lorentz, DO, and Kinga Chybowska, APN, to our team. They’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know and working with all of you, and we look forward to continuing to provide exceptional care together.
